Automotive journalists release list of best new cars, trucks, SUVs

TORONTO – Eighty automotive journalists have released their list of the best new cars, SUVs and trucks.

Mazda received three nods, winning the best new small car under $21,000 and over $21,000, as well as best new family car over $30,000.

The 80 journalists representing the Autombile Journalists Association of Canada evaluated 174 cars, SUVs and trucks to come up with the winners in each of the 12 categories.

Each journalist drove vehicles in a particular category on the same day, under the same conditions, on both a closed course and public roads.
