My United Way Voice

Are you a singer, rapper or poet? Be the Voice Against Poverty! My United Way Voice is back with its third edition, bigger and better than ever. Singers, rappers and spoken word artists, this is your shot to showcase your talent in a huge way, while being part of a meaningful talent competition, fighting poverty through the power of music. Create a song about poverty and submit your video, and you could win a fully-sponsored prize package valued over $30,000 including $5,000 cash going towards your musical career, a $5,000 demo recording deal with PlanIt Sound, and a two year lease of a brand new Honda Civic, proudly sponsored by Sherwood Honda.

The winner will be decided by community-wide vote, and live Twitter vote at the Red Tie Gala, where the Top 3 will have the opportunity to showcase in front of 700 community leaders. Submission deadline is November 3, 2017, but get your early bird submissions in before October 15 for a chance at the 1 Wildcard Entry into the Top 10.
