The Adult Choir of St. George’s Cathedral begins rehearsals on a new day and time, starting on Thursday September 7 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Choral Scholarships for students are available. Short-term seasonal choirs are offered for occasional singers. Located in the heart of downtown Kingston (270 King St. E. at Johnson), the Cathedral’s beautiful architecture and superb acoustics make it an ideal environment for singing. SEPTEMBER 8
The Children’s Choir of St. George’s Cathedral begins a new term on Friday September 8 from 4:15pm to 5:15pm. The choir welcomes boys and girls aged 7 to 13. They rehearse Fridays after school, and sing monthly on Sundays. There is no membership fee, and no requirement for previous musical experience. As well as singing together, the choir enjoys an occasional pizza party and other special events. Located in the heart of downtown Kingston (270 King St. E. at Johnson), the Cathedral’s dome is immediately recognizable as a local landmark.
