The Dash 4 Dad walk/run takes place Sunday, June 18th, 2017 at Springbank Gardens from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. It is our time to support the men we love on Father’s Day by joining together to raise vital funds and awareness in the fight against the most common cancer to affect Canadian Men.
Our goal is straight forward but far from simple-to defeat a cancer that affects one in eight men in his lifetime. Thanks to our generous supporters, last year’s event raised over $50,000 and in our 18 year history have raised over $1 million dollars. We are moving one step closer to a world where men no longer die of this disease.
Last year, several hundred people attended this emotionally charged event. This year, we anticipate an even greater number of participants and volunteers to be involved. This is an incredible event where friends, family and co-workers come together to create awareness in their community of the impact this disease has on the men they love.
