RCCS Canada 150 Summer Arts Show in Richmond

Celebrating Canada 150 from Lansdowne skytrain plaza to Lansdowne Sky

train Mall on Saturday July 29, 2017, Richmond Chinese Community Society

with grants from the City of Richmond and Richmond Foundation, is going to

host a Richmond Art and Cultural Festival. Great activities for family. Inside

the Mall near the Food Court, the live performance on stage include ethnic

cultural dance, Lion Dance, Magical changing of face masks, Chinese music

performance and around with booths from University of Victoria, institute on

aging, richmond Weavers and Spinners Guild, Richmond Cares, Richmond

Gives, Richmond Society for community living, Vancouver Multicultural

society, City Centre Community Centre and many others. One can start off

with visiting our Outdoor Art venue at the Lansdowne Skytrain Plaza. 100

artists show their great talents and expressions. paintings in watercolour, oil

and acrylic, ceramics, photographs, jewelleries and crafts. Chinese painters

with traditional chinese paintings and calligraphy. One can have a close

encounter with and learn first hand the life and aspiration of a living Artist. If

one stays long enough and may be lucky to bring home a special lucky draw

price. This event is FREE to all artists and the public.
