As part of the DVA’s Culture Crawl, the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives is proud to host Taaloo Zorouna – “Come Visit With Us” Film Viewing & Discussion. Scheduled from 7-8:30pm Friday May 26th the series of short video interviews with Syrian Refugees who have come to the Okanagan in the past year will give audience members a taste of Syrian culture and traditions. This event is open to everyone with the hope that the short films will fuel further discussion, facilitated by Gabriel Newman, the Museum’s Education Coordinator. The evening is presented in partnership with Vernon Interfaith Bridging. Admission is by donation, however as seating is limited, please call 250-542-3142 to reserve your spot. Snacks and light refreshments provided.
