Tamara Elliott is a born and raised Calgarian, who started working as a journalist in 2004 while still taking classes at Mount Royal College.
After graduation, she was snapped up by Global Calgary, and has done pretty much every shift in the newsroom. One of her career highlights was reporting on Michael Jackson’s public memorial in Los Angeles for Global National. She is currently an online reporter, and is responsible for web content as well as social media.
An avid traveller, Tamara has been to over 30 countries. When not off exploring exotic destinations, she spends her time with her husband and their two bulldogs.
