Justin Bulman

Justin Bulman is a television freelancer who, prior to joining Global News in Montreal, worked with Global News in Toronto with the network resources team.

After spending a good part of his youth as a video game tester, Bulman made a couple of videos that went viral in Montreal and went back to school for video production.

He studied television as a mature student at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ont., where he undertook the same television tutelage as P.K. Subban through volunteering at the community TV level.

In his final year of studies, Bulman won a Broadcast Educators Association of Canada award for best Live/Remote production, he was also nominated for best Studio/Series Production.

After graduation, he freelanced with CBC Sports, covering the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games and Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, while taking on contracts with TIFF, Canadian Music Week and at Global News in Toronto.

Bulman did some studio work for the Canadian Screen Award-winning 16×9, which won the 2016 CSA for best news and informative series.

He is now back in Montreal to work as a freelance television producer for Global News Morning.

Justin’s hobbies include playing sports, checking out comedy shows around the city and not writing about himself in the third person.
